Our family run pub was first built in 1454, making it one of the oldest pubs in the UK. Since we re-opened in 2009 we have made extensive enhancements and improvements to our bars, making us not only the oldest but the most inviting pub on the Island.

Our recently renovated restaurant serves a great range of traditional pub fare, using fresh island produce which is all prepared and cooked in our kitchens - from the Yorkshire puddings to the apple sauce! Our island renowned head chef specialises in juicy steaks cooked to order, and a array of delicious thai and curry dishes.

Beautifully located just two miles from the famous beach of Ventnor, we are the perfect place for a holiday lunch. Our large beer garden is the ideal place for idling away those long summer afternoons as the kids play in our new outdoor play area.
